Robert William Fairbanks Co. I, 23rd Ohio Infantry Robert William Fairbanks was born 4 September 1838, a son of Edwin and Mary (Averill) Fairbanks, in Montgomery County, New York, and moved to Summit County, Ohio, as a young child with his family.

The Crossroads Quilt Guild November 15th meeting was called to order by President Karen McCune to enjoy things brought by our hosts Stephanie Hart, Jackie Wright and Kenda Ross for the evening. Twenty-eight members answered Roll Call.

The Court of Appeals Nominating Commission announced January 7th, 2022, the three nominees chosen to fill the upcoming vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Michael Buser. One of those nominees is Angela D. (Chesney) Coble, a former graduate of Stockton High School.

Even though the 2021 K-5 Christmas concert was postponed until Thursday, January 6th, and the weather was bitter cold with a few inches of snow on the ground, that did not deter the Stockton Grade School students from giving their audience a very Merry Christmas program!

First Christian Church welcomed Bruno Mo Raes, a missionary from Brazil supported by FCC, to deliver our message on Sunday. Besides telling us the history of him and his wife Lucy’s journey as missionaries, he also enlightened us on how this journey was part of God’s pattern for his life.
