Buckle up for a weekend packed with thrills—Red Line Cruisers Car Club is revving up for its milestone 10th Annual Cruise Night and Car Show, and you won’t want to miss a moment! Mark your calendars: Cruise Night launches the festivities on Friday, May 1, with the dazzling Car Show taking over Saturday, May 2. Friday’s Cruise sparks into action at 6:00 p.m., promising a night of roaring engines, sparkling chrome, and community fun for all ages—wrapping up at 9:00 p.m.

Area residents are reminded to take advantage of the many garage sales happening across the county during the Rooks County Treasure Trail this Friday and Saturday. With sales taking place in multiple communities, the weekend offers plenty of opportunities to find unique items, great deals, and hidden treasures while traveling throughout Rooks County.

The United States is celebrating the 250th anniversary throughout the year. National, state, and local events are being planned to commemorate the special occasion. The Rooks County Historical Society and Museum will join the American Celebration.
