The Plainville Memorial Library will present 'Go and Grow,' an evening with Trooper Ben. The event will be held on Sunday, March 15th at 4:00 p.m. at the Plainville High School Auditorium (202 SE Cardinal Avenue). The message is about relationships, service, and choosing attention over inattention.

Serving up regular or blueberry pancakes, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and biscuits & gravy will be the Palco Lions Club members at their upcoming Pancake Feed. This delicious event will be held on Sunday, March 22nd, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The menus for the Senior Centers in Rooks County for the week beginning Monday, March 9, are as follows: Monday—Chicken patty sandwich, California blend vegetables, bun, emerald pears, cookie. Tuesday—Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, brussel sprouts, bread, peaches.

Monday—Biscuit and gravy, cereal, banana, fruit juice, milk. Tuesday—Mixed berry scone, cereal, apricots, fruit juice, milk.

Make plans to attend the Prairie Heritage Auction this Sunday, March 8th. The event will start at 9:30 a.m.

The public is encouraged to attend the Rooks County Storm Spotter Training on Wednesday, March 11th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Plainville Fire House (416 West Mill Street).
