Body THIS AND THAT * Actress Angela Lansbury passed away a few weeks ago. I really love watching her in the TV series “Murder She Wrote.” Also, she was a wonderful Mrs. Potts in the movie “Beauty and the Beast.” (I have a china Mrs. Potts bank that I bought at Smith’s many years ago.

Body HALLOWEEN JOKES * If you haven’t already, it’s time to release the Reese’s Peanut butter Pumpkins! * What do you call a witch’s garage? A broom closet. * What kind of food would you find on a haunted beach? A sand-witch! * What was the witch’s favorite subject in school? Spelling.

Body PUMPKIN PATCH FUN If you missed the Stockton Pumpkin Patch this year on the first weekend of October, then you missed out on a lot of good old family fun! I am probably the event’s number one cheerleader since you all know how much I LOVE Fall, so I am going to brag it up!

Body GOBLIN’S GLORY MEMORIES When the moon is full and the witches fly the Stockton FFA members prepare for the annual Goblin’s Glory! Members set up booths and conduct a variety of games with the format not changing since its inception.

Body HOMECOMING MEMORIES Yes, I am still on my trip down Memory Lane and thought I would reminisce about my Homecomings while I was in high school.

Body THE LETTER JACKET I am taking a trip down Memory Lane since I saw the SHS cheerleaders wearing their letter “sweaters” at one of the recent home football games. It brought back bittersweet memories for me that I cherish to this day.

Body Since I am on the Nova Theatre Board, a lot of people ask why the Nova has to wait a few weeks to run a movie when it is already in other theatres, doesn’t get this movie or that movie, or has to run a movie for two weeks, etc. So I thought I would explain how the studios work.

Body * So sorry to hear of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. She was a go-getter and took her title seriously.

Body * I have put my order in for a lovely, and long, fall season with the leaves turning into beautiful shades of orange, yellow and red. If it goes the way I would like it to, fall will have some cool rainy days when needed and will stay around until the end of November.

Body THIS AND THAT * I have decided to be the Roma Smith of my generation who went to the Stockton swimming pool whenever she could! She is my inspiration with her “plain old vanilla” walk. And I will add that I met my water spirit at the Hays Aquatic Park this summer.
