The Stockton Lady Tigers were on the road to Beloit last Tuesday where they suffered their first loss of the season, falling to St. John’s 19-25, 19-25, in the first match of the triangular. The Lady Tigers then came back with an easy win over Pike Valley 25-11, 25-10, to bring their record to 5-1.

The Stockton Junior High Volleyball Team defeated St. John’s last Thursday in A Team action at Beloit.

The Homecoming game between the Stockton Tigers and Lakeside Knights last Friday evening was won by the visiting Knights, 46-0. The Tigers played their opponents tough throughout the first quarter, with Stockton having a touchdown by Emerson Lowry called back due to a penalty.

Neither of the Lady Tiger harriers, Cheyenne Hoeting nor Mia Odle, ran in last week’s meet which was held last Thursday at the Webster State Park and hosted by Stockton. After taking a week off, the ladies will travel to Smith Center this Thursday for a meet which will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Stockton Lady Tigers placed third at the Purple and Gold Volleyball Tournament held last Saturday in WaKeeney. The Lady Tigers, whose record improved to 8-3 on the season, went 3-2 on the day, defeating Russell in the consolation finals in two sets, 26-24, 25-14, to capture third place.
