The Stockton Tigers hosted Decatur Community in district football action at Tiger Stadium last Friday evening with Stockton falling 54-0. The Tigers played their opponents tough in the first quarter, trailing just 8-0 at its end with Decatur Community’s lone touchdown coming at the 1:14 mark.

The Stockton Lady Tigers captured the Ellis High School Volleyball Invitational last Saturday following their win in the finals over the host Lady Railers 25-17, 25-16. After going 4-1 on the day, the Stockton girls are an impressive 18-7 on the season.

Both Cheyenne Hoeting and Mia Odle ran personal best times at the cross country meet held last Thursday in Beloit. Hoeting’s new PR of 20:38, was over a minute faster than her PR from last week, 21:49.

The Stockton Lady Tigers moved to 16-7 on the season after splitting with Lakeside and St. John’s in volleyball action last Tuesday in Downs. All the matches were exciting, with Stockton winning a close one over Lakeside, 27-25, 26-24, but falling to. St. John’s 27-29, 20-25.

It was a sweep for the Stockton Junior High Lady Tigers last Thursday in Stockton, with the A-Team girls downing Tescott 25-9, 25-5, and the B Team winning 25-4, 25-17.

Senior Emerson Lowry found the end zone twice last Friday in the Stockton Tigers’ 58-12 loss to Rawlins County in Atwood. The Stockton boys continue to play hard, but are still searching for their first win.
