The Stockton Tigers fell to the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs 0-46 last Friday night in the Tigers’ Homecoming game. Stockton nearly put points on the board when junior quarterback Jace Kesler broke loose for a big run which put the Tigers in the red zone, but they were unable to capitalize on it.

The Stockton Junior High Volleyball girls made a statement on Thursday, September 11 at home, defeating their opponents in every game played. The Stockton A Team won 25-5, 25-16, and the B and C Teams won 25-8, 25-3, ad 25-7, 25-6, respectively.

The Stockton Lady Tigers were in WaKeeney on Saturday, September 13, to compete in Trego’s volleyball tournament. The Stockton girls finished the day 0-3, falling to Oakley 9-25, 18-25, to Russell 26-28, 19-25, and to Wallace County 21-25, 6-25..

The Stockton Lady Tigers participated in the volleyball tournament in Logan last Saturday, going 1-2 on the day. Stockton fell to Wheatland/Grinnell 13-25, 12-25, defeated Hill City 17-25, 25-22, 25-19, and then lost to Logan/Palco 19-25, 25-18, 17-25.

The Stockton Junior High Volleyball girls improved their record to 3-0 on the season after defeating Lincoln on the road last Thursday, September 18. The A-Team downed the Leopards 25-22, 25-15.

It was a tough weekend for the Stockton Lady Tiger Volleyball Team as they were defeated in all three matches they played at the tournament in WaKeeney, which Trego High School hosted. Other teams competing were Oakley, Northern Valley, Osborne, Russell, Wallace County and the host Lady Eagles.

The Stockton Lady Tigers split in volleyball action last Tuesdsay in Beloit where they defeated Pike Valley in two sets, 25-18, 25-21, but fell to St. John’s/Tipton 17-25, 11-25.
