Hahn places first in Holiday Classic
Freshman Ashlyn Hahn placed first at the Holiday Classic Wrestling Tournament in Goodland last Saturday, helping the Lady Tiger team to a fourth-place finish. Hahn, who wrestled at 115, won by a fall in four of her five matches on the day, improving her record to 13-2 on the season.
SHS Lady Tigers defeated by TMP Lady Monarchs
In their final game of 2021, the Stockton Lady Tigers were on the road to Hays to take on the Thomas-More Prep Lady Monarchs. The Friday night game between the two Mid-Continent League teams was won by TMP, 75-39. With the loss, Stockton fell to 0-7 on the season.
SHS Lady Tigers fall at home to Trego, 53-42
The Stockton Lady Tigers suffered a 53-42 loss at home last Tuesday to the visiting Trego Lady Eagles. Stockton was able to stay within striking distance the entire way, but a six-point deficit on a couple occasions was as close as they would get.
Rylan Basart named to All-League Special Teams
Although he missed the last four games of the season due to injury, Mid-Continent League coaches recognized the talent of Tiger senior Rylan Basart, naming him the 2021 MCL 8-Man All-League Kicker on Special Teams. The complete list of honors is as follows:
SJH Tigers host Smith Center in final home game
In their final home game of the season, the Stockton Junior High Tiger Basketball Teams hosted Smith Center last Monday, December 13. Although the outcomes were the same, the Tiger teams were able to tally more points in their respective outings.
