It was a tough night for the Stockton Junior High Tigers last Thursday when they were on the road to play Sylvan-Lucas. The Lady Tigers’ A-Team girls lost in two sets to Sylvan- Lucas, 16-25, 15-25, while the B-Teamers fell 21-25, 26-28. On the football field, the Stockton boys were defeated 62-34.

Last Friday the Stockton Tigers traveled to Hoxie to take on the Indians in 8-man district football action. Despite their low numbers and having to deal with injuries, the Tigers continue to play with a lot of heart and give it their best effort each night.

Last Tuesday the Stockton Lady Tigers traveled to Oakley for a triangular with the TMP Lady Monarchs, and the host Lady Plainsmen. Stockton faced TMP first, falling 23-25, 22-25, in a match they actually should have won, according to Coach Alexa Rogers.

The Stockton Tiger Cross Country Teams traveled to Norton last Thursday for both a high school and junior high meet. Eighth grader Christine Jurgens was the only Tiger earning a medal as she placed third in the 2-Mile 8th-Grade Girls race with a time of 21:05:22.
