Free registration fees available for Rooks County residents

The Rooks County Conservation District board members have agreed to provide three registration fees per con ference for any Rooks County resident that would like to attend any of the upcoming three conferences:

The Stockton Sentinel will be closed for Christmas from Wednesday, December 23rd through Sunday, December 27th. We will be closed on Thursday, December 31st and Friday, January 1st for the New Year holiday. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Farmers Union Holiday Schedule

The Farmers Union Mercantile & Shipping Association will close at noon on Thursday, 24th for Christmas Eve and will be closed on Friday, December 25 for Christmas. They will also close at noon on Thursday, December 31st for New Year’s Eve and remain closed on Friday, January 1st for New Year’s Day.

Will be open on New Year’s Eve for Open Bowling! 183 Lanes will be closed on Thursday and Friday, December 24th and 25th for Christmas, and on Friday, January 1st for New Year’s Day. They will be open on Thursday, December 31st (New Year’s Eve) from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Commodity Distributions set for Monday, December 28th

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution the week of November 23rd for those in the Plainville and Stockton areas. Plainville will hold its distribution on Monday, December 28th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
