The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room.

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, June 27th for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. In Stockton, the distribution will be held on Monday, June 27th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall. You are asked to please enter through the front door at 314 Main Street.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, June 27, are as follows: Monday—Swiss steak with tomatoes, rice, asparagus, bread, pears. Tuesday— Pork cutlet, scalloped potatoes, antique blend vegetables, bread, applesauce. Wednesday—Turkey tetrazzini, brussel sprouts, bread, fruit crisp. Thursday—Sausage gravy, hashbrowns, cookie, biscuit, cantaloupe. Friday— Sloppy joe, tossed salad, cookie, bun, pineapple.

183 Lanes in Stockton has closed down the lanes for the summer with “No Bowling” from Monday, June 13th through Thursday August 25th, with the leagues to start up again on Tuesday, September 6th. Please note there are some changes to the Summer Dining and Kitchen Hours.
