The Animal Hospital of Plainville and Phillipsburg invites all producers to their bi-annual dinner meeting, Feed & Feet. The dinner/meeting will be held at Phillipsburg at the Huck Boyd Center on Wednesday, November 16th at 6:00 p.m.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, November 7, are as follows: Monday—Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, beets, bread, tropical fruit. Tuesday— Closed for Election Day. Wednesday—Shepherd’s pie, antingua blend vegetables, bread, fruit cobbler. Thursday—Hamburger patty with lettuce, tomato and onion, broccoli salad, bun, pears. Friday—Taco salad, corn, chips, peaches.

Week of November 7 Breakfast Monday—Bagel, fruit, juice, milk. Tuesday—Cereal, fruit, juice, milk.

The Stockton VFW Post 8873 and Auxiliary are encouraging everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday, November 8th. Honor a veteran’s service by casting your ballot and then help the veterans with their projects by coming to the Stockton VFW from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and enjoy a lunch of ham and bean soup with homemade cornbread or chicken and noodles, dessert and drink for $8.00. And don’t forget to buy your poppy to help our disabled veterans.

The Nova Theatre will be changing to its Fall/Winter show times this weekend, November 4th. Friday and Saturday movies will remain at 7:00 p.m.

The Craft Basket, located on the corner of Mill & Nicholas in Alton will open this Saturday, November 5th for the 2022 Holiday Season! The store will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from 1:00 p.m.

The Stockton VFW Auxiliary to Post 8873 is inviting our veterans to lunch on Veteran s Day, Friday, November 11th at the Post home. They will be serving lunch from11:00 a.m.
