The Plainville Memorial Library staff appreciates everyone who helped us exceed our goal of reading or listening to 2,500 books during June and July. We are so proud of our community!

The meeting of the Crossroads Quilt Guild was called to order on Monday, July 20th, with refreshments brought by Betty Bedore and Diane Maddy.RollCallwastaken, with 11 members answering, and a few projects were shown.

On Wednesday, July 15th, the three Rooks County Libraries welcomed library staff, trustees, and local elected officials aboard a unique library bus tour showcasing the vital role each library plays in the community.

The Kansas Department of Transportation began resurfacing a portion of U.S. 24 in Stockton from Elm Street to Pleasant Street this week.
