#New Farm Wife Chronicles

Body
Addie Skelton woke with the first light of dawn seeping through her lace curtains. The farm outside was still wrapped in the gentle hush of morning. Tate, her husband, or 'The Farmer,' as she lovingly referred to him, was already outside, starting his day. Her uncut hair, thick and dark, spilled over her shoulders as she knelt beside her bed in prayer, her voice whispering thanks for another day. Her heart was quiet with gratitude for her family, her land, and God's mercy. The small cross above the bed caught the soft glow of the sun. The cross given to her by her grandmother was a symbol of her unwavering faith.
