Benjamin Hansen and Jenna Morain of Plainville are among the nearly 8,700 undergraduate students at the University of Kansas who earned honor roll distinction for the spring 2025 semester. The honor roll comprises undergraduates who meet requirements in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and in the schools of Architecture & Design, Business, Education & Human Sciences, Engineering, Health Professions, Journalism & Mass Communications, Music, Nursing, Pharmacy, Professional Studies, and Social Welfare.

Submitted by Bill Scala The Tuesday night men’s playing group hosted thirty players despite the 95-degree temperature. They played a 3-man scramble on the 8th. The first-place team consisted of Rick, James, and Noah, with a score of 30. Sponsored by Effin Energy Services, the prize for the Closest To The Pin On # 8 went to Dave Bethel. The Tuesday night men’s group tees off around 6:00 p.m.

HCF welcomes four new members to the board

The Heartland Community Foundation announces the addition of four new members to its Advisory Board, recognizes recent leadership transitions, and introduces a new County Engagement Committee structure designed to welcome a more diverse range of voices to the table. Heartland's Advisory Board plays a vital role in guiding the Foundation's mission to improve the quality of life across Ellis, Rooks, and Trego counties.
