The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met Monday, October 26, 2020, at 7 p.m. at the Stockton United Methodist Church. Janie opened with the Flag Salute. Roll Call was, "Name your favorite candy.” It was answered by six members.

As of Monday, November 2nd the Stockton Farmers Union Elevator has taken in 467,000 bushels of milo and 160,000 bushels of corn. Woodston Coop has taken in 96,000 bushels of milo and 333,000 bushels of corn.

The Rooks County Commission met on Tuesday, October 27th for its regular weekly meeting with commissioners John Ruder, Corky Hagan and Greg Balthazor in attendance. The commissioners first gave their weekly reports, with Hagan stating it had been a quiet week.

New little twins, Dane and Drake Dibble, are now home from Wichita. Dan Melton, Walton, came late Friday night to help vaccinate calves and returned home Saturday evening.

It was a perfect fall night with lots of trick-or-treaters out and about on Halloween, Saturday, October 31st. Rooks County Sheriff Gary Knight stated it was a quiet evening with no problems, and nothing reported or called in to his department.
