Languein Retires from RCH

Body
JANET LANGUEIN of Plainville retired June 1, 2021, from the Rooks County Health Center after working the front desk for the past 15 years, 8 months. She had planned to work until she was 76 years of age but is just shy of that goal. However, she says she will remain PRN (as needed, as necessary, and as the circumstance arises). She says, “The hospital has been very good to me. I’ve made many friendships— even with patients—and will cherish each one. God has truly blessed me.” Janet added it’s time for her to put on the spurs and keep the ranch going. She concluded, “If anyone needs something to do, come on out to the Ponderosa and help me repair fence or restore my ‘69 Dodge Charger, as well as many other things that need done around the farm. Thanks for the ride.”

Purdum Family July 4th

Body
With 15 family members present for the July 4th celebration, breakfast was in shifts starting at 8:00 a.m., as the dining table will seat at the most 8 people at a time. Some of the family even made it to morning church services. After services, their pyrotechnist (three or four of the men) donned their special shirts that read, "Fireworks Director: If I Run, You Run!" Several of the family went swimming—enjoying the water slide greatly.
