At this year’s St. Thomas Mardi Gras, held on Sunday, February 27th, the winners of the various raffles were drawn. Amy Krob won the beautiful quilt from the Mission Quilters. Irene Nyp won $160.00 from the CYO’s 50/50 raffle. Unfortunately, the Knights of Columbus raffle winners were not recorded.

The March membership meeting of the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce was called to order by president Linda Conyac with the following present: vice president Courtney Flower, board member Linda Morgan, Lisa Gilmore, Ruth Anne Bigge, Jana Slansky, Amber Muir, Ravin States Leake and Jayne Prockish. The meeting was held at Solutions North Bank.

The Rooks County Commission approved the 2022 Rooks County Free Fair Board appointments at their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 8th. Fair board members for this year are as follows: Dean Hrabe (president), Kelly Muir (secretary), Ruthmary Muir, (treasurer), Leonard Bristow (first vice president), David Pieper (second vice president), Laura Moffet, Cade Beesley, Steve Cook, Joe Becker, Tom Benoit, Anna Luna, Steve Riffel, Kirk Green, Dan Kriley, Jason Ochampaugh, Shawn Roy, Rod Becker, Dixie Miller, Jess Iwanski, Doug Keas, Jeff Keller, Jerry Miller, Brian Pelton and Henry Sander.
