On June 11, at about 10:45 p.m., Lawrence Chesney, age 70, of Plainville, was traveling west on U Rd. about one-half mile from 21 Rd., when he struck a calf. Chesney was wearing his seatbelt, and no injuries were reported.

KATHY, JALIA AND JAYANA CREIGHTON participated at the Osborne County Fair Dog Show July 25th. Kathy showed KC in Rally and received a Blue ribbon, received a Blue ribbon in Showmanship, and in Obedience with a perfect score, she received a Grand Champion.
