National 4-H Week is set aside to celebrate the impact the organization has made in the lives of families and communities for more than a century. The week, October 2-8, brings awareness to the 4-H program at the county, state and national level.

I wrote this column in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic in April of 2020, before we all had quarantine/ corona fatigue, in the first month of our separation from family and friends.

Stockton’s Pumpkin Patch was held this past weekend (October 1st and 2nd) and can only be described as a “smashing success!

The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met Monday, September 26, 2022 at the United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Susan G. opened with the Flag Salute and Pam read the FCE Mission. Roll call was, 'Have you turned in your enrollment for next year? We had 8 members present.
