Crossroads Quilt Guild

The regular monthly meeting o the Crossroads Quilt Guild was held on Monday, January 16th, 2023, at Stitch and chatter with 19 members present. Hostesses were the officers: Lynda Falley, Toni Anderson, Diane Maddy, and Linda Gardner. Diane Maddy gave the Treasurer’s Report.

Stockton Fire calls answered

The Stockton Fire Department answered two calls last week, with the first on Wednesday, January 29th, at 7:00 p.m. A vehicle had hit a deer east of town on Highway 24. The car engine had steam from a broken radiator hose, which broke on impact, looking like the vehicle was on fire.

September 16th, 1881: County Supt. Clark can now be found in the southwest room of the new courthouse and the register, clerk and treasurer in the east room. The offices are not all ready to occupy yet.

The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Stockton at 7 p.m. Susan G. opened the meeting with the flag salute and Gail read the FCE mission. The treasurer's report was read and approved. Our profit from our greenery sales was $1,208.
