Body Georgiana Magdalen Herrman, age 84, passed away October 8, 2022, at Lamar Court Assisted Living, Overland Park. She was born on February 2, 1938, in rural Rush County, Kansas, to Isidore and Albertina (Legleiter) Herrman. She married Francis A.

Body Sandra Elaine Hubbard, age 66, of Salina, Kansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Sandra was born on June 14, 1956 in Hays, Kansas to Vernell Arends and Norma Pauline Ives.

Body Heaven has claimed the life of Joy C. Johnson of Manhattan, Kansas. She was 83 years old and died peacefully on October 4, 2022, at Meadowlark Hills. She fought a battle with cancer for the last year. Joy was born on May 1, 1939 in Plainville, Kansas to Louis and Opal Hrabe.

Body Our father John Henry Schruben passed away peacefully at a hospice in Maryland on Sept. 30, 2022. He was 96 years old, and the last of his generation in our large family.

Body Clara Mae (Wright) Riffel of Stockton, KS, passed away on October 3, 2022, at the Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton at the age of 91. She was born on June 10, 1931, to Irvin Day and Lula (Jennings) Wright in Pittsfield, Mass.

Body Scott Lee Redmon, age 68, passed away on October 2, 2022, in Oberlin, KS with his family by his side. He was born on February 5, 1954, in Greeley, Colo., to Melvin and Imogene (Green) Redmon. Scott grew up in Greeley and Thornton, Colo.

Body William “Bill” Earl Desbien, age 70, formerly of Abilene, Kansas, passed away at his home in Joplin, Mo., on Friday, September 23rd, 2022.

Body Roque Florez Garcia passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Stockton, Kansas at the age of 70. He was born on August 16, 1952, in Larned, Kansas to Modesto and Ventura (Florez) Garcia. He was married to Brenda (Hunter) Garcia on October 20, 1973, in Stockton.

Body Charles “Charlie” Joseph Hoch passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, in Topeka, Kansas, at the age of 63.

Body Logan resident Hazel M. Pflieger passed away on Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, at the Brookdale Senior Living Facility in Hays at the age of 87. She was born May 23, 1935, in Logan, Kansas, the daughter of Earl and Alpha (Wallgren) McCue. She was an Elementary School Teacher.
