Arthur R. “Art” Armbrister, age 91, of Zurich, Kansas passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at Redbud Village in Plainville, Kansas.
He was born November 6, 1930 in Ellis County to Christian “Christ” and Hilda (Rumpel) Armbrister.
Kay Marie Rush, Stockton, passed away on August 20, 2022, at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City at the age of 80.

Jane Edith (McCaslin) Callabresi, age 81, passed away on August 2, 2022 in Livermore, Calif., her home for the last 53 years.
Jane was born January 3, 1941 in Stockton, Kansas and met the love of her life, Melvin, at Kansas State University. They married in 1964 and moved to Livermore in 1969. While raising two children, she started her own tax consulting and accounting business and operated it for 35 years.
Former Stockton resident, Bernita Jean (Duffey) Gawith, age 86, Oberlin, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022.
She was born September 10, 1935, on the family farm in Menlo to Ray and Eva (Moos) Duffey. Bernita was the 9th of 12 children. She loved spending time with her siblings.
Bernita married Mike Gawith on July 30, 1955, in Colby. They were blessed with three children: Gary (Jeannie), Peggy, and Scott (Misty).
Bernita’s interests were sewing for her family, quilting, and her button collection.
Lila Lee Mitchell, age 90, passed away on July 31, 2022, at Legacy of Salina, Kansas.
Lila Lee was born in Palco, Kansas, on June 19, 1932. She was the second oldest child of Cletus and Lois (Cook) Gibson. She married Richard Mitchell on May 27, 1951, and had 4 children.
Esther Ann (Whaling) Lamm was born the daughter of Henry & Mary (Porter) Whaling on February 18, 1928, on the family farm south of Osborne.
She was united in marriage to Dean Lamm on July 21, 1957. Dean & Esther were blessed with a daughter Jane Deanna, born on August 9, 1959. Jane passed away on June 23, 1984.
Dean and Esther made their home in Alton, Kansas and then moved to Osborne, Kansas in 2000.
Delma Jean “Bubbe” Miller, age 72, passed away August 4, 2022, at the University Of Kansas Health System-Great Bend Campus.
She was born on April 12, 1950, in Hays, KS, to Delmar & Dorothy (McGhghy) Marston. She married Ronald Kent Miller on January 25, 1970, at Plainville.

He was born in Hays, the second son of Vale Page, MD and Patricia Page on November 5, 1954.
Marlene Caroline (Schoenthaler) Deutscher, age 98, of Ellis, Kansas, passed away July 28, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society, Ellis.
She was born February 26, 1924, on the family farm north of Ellis to Jacob W. and Mary (Ast) Schoenthaler. She was the last of nine children born to this union.
