Phillipsburg resident Loretta K. Kline passed away February 14, 2023, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville at the age of 74.
She was born February 13, 1949.
Survivors include her daughters Misti Taber of Stockton and Inett Eckhout of Kearney, Neb.; her son, Shane Westbrook of Ravenna, Neb.; stepdaughter, Becky Kline; Sisters, Irene Anzalone of Florida and Rita Whitaker of Omaha, Neb.; 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Leroy (Bud) Rodman, of Stockton, went to heaven to join his wife on February 13, 2023, at Hays Medical Center, at the age of 97.
He was born in Ree Heights, S.D. on July 1, 1925. He was number 12 of 13 children born to Chalmer and Elsie Rodman.
William A. “Bill” Wilson, age 85, passed February 13, 2023, at The University of Kansas Hospital, Great Bend Campus.
Bonnie (Gosser) Wyatt, of Plainville, passed away at the Rooks County Health Center on February 7, 2023. She was 91 years old.
She was born on Memorial Day, May 30, 1931, in Hays, Kansas to Theodore and Foila (Joy) Gosser.
Tom Hamel of El Dorado, Kansas passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 83 after an extended illness.
He grew up in Zurich, Kansas, the youngest of three sons to Harry and Nona Hamel.
Wayne Alan Kee, of Stockton, passed away on February 4, 2023, at Alliance Health in Woodward, Okla., at the age of 69.
He was born on January 6, 1954, to James Warren and Willie Ruth (Wineinger) Kee in Beloit. He was married to Michele Lee McComb on August 19, 1972, in Stockton. They were blessed with four children: Brandi, Brian, Brianne, and Brooke.
Glen Ray Cain, of Plainville, passed away on January 22, 2023, at the Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 73.
He was born on February 20, 1949, to George and Ruby (Knust) Cain in Russell. He married Mary Ruth Thompson on June 21, 1986, in Plainville.
Glen graduated from Palco High School in 1967.
Virgil Elwood Sneath, age 89, of Quinter, passed away on January 30, 2023.
He was born in Kaneer, Kansas on November 29, 1933. He graduated from Geneseo High School and continued his education at a vocational school.
Virgil was united in marriage to Joyce Sprick on December 7, 1978; they were married for 44 years. He worked as an electrician for years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, stock car races, and football. He was also actively involved in Gove Community Bible Church.
