Carolyn (O'Grady) Dierling, Whiting, N.J., passed on March 26, 2026, at the age of 84.

Born in Jersey City on February 19, 1942, to William and Lucille Dierling, Carolyn lived with her family in Hoboken, N.J., until 1958, when they moved to Lake Stockholm, N.J., and a few years later, she started her own family there.

In 1974, they moved to Boonton, where she resided until retirement. Upon retirement, she first moved to Lafayette, and then settled in her final home in Whiting, N.J.

Donna Jean (Belisle) Towns, 70, of Ness City, Kansas, and formerly of Palco, Kansas, passed away on April 13, 2026, at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City.

She was born on February 12, 1956, to Duane and Patricia (Newell) Belisle in Hays, Kansas.

Donna grew up in Damar and graduated from Palco High School. She worked as a dental assistant for many years with positions in Great Bend, Kansas, and in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma, before retiring in 2017.

Silver Dawn Van Wey, 40, Hays, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 30th, 2026, at HaysMed in Hays, Kansas.

Silver was born in Beloit on August 25, 1985, to Donald and Sandra Van Wey. She grew up in Downs, Kansas, with her parents and older sister, Sabrina (Hedding). Silver attended Downs High School, graduating in 2003 as part of the last Downs Dragon class.

Glade resident, Bert Mongeau, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska, at the age of 75.

Albert Joseph Mongeau was born on July 2, 1950, in Stockton, Kansas, to his parents, Alcid and Ella (Knipp) Mongeau.

He was united in marriage to Delores “Dee” Mongeau on January 30, 1988, at the Catholic Church in Phillipsburg, Kansas.

Bert is preceded in death by his wife, Dee Mongeau; parents, Alcid and Ella Mongeau; brother Allen Mongeau; and an infant sister.
