City approves several requests during meeting

Body During the Stockton City Commission meeting on Tuesday, October 15th, Pastor Ted Stapleton was present to ask for help with the city utility bill for Blessed Beginnings Daycare. The facility is bringing in approximately $6,600.00 per month, with bills for $14,235.00 per month.

Area fall harvest update

Body As of Monday, October 21st, the harvesting of the corn and beans in the area is about three-fourths complete. Milo harvest is around 50 percent done.

Stockton woman facing four drug charges

Body Brenna M. Bouchey, 34, of Stockton, was charged on October 10, 2024, with four counts related to the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from her residence in Stockton on July 26, 2024.

Area Fall Harvest Update

Body As of Monday, October 14th, the Stockton Farmers Union Elevator has taken in 45,000 bushels of beans, with the Woodston Coop taking 26,000 bushels. This is over 200% of last year’s crop.
