Bring Senior pictures to the Sentinel

The Sentinel continues to ask senior kids and their parents to please bring in an 8 x 10 photo to be displayed in our window at the Stockton Sentinel. We need several more to have all 21 graduating seniors. Please, let’s keep the tradition alive and get your pictures in today.

Water main break repaired

The residences from Elm to Pine Street in Stockton were without water for about five hours on Wednesday, April 29th when the City worked on a broken water main on the corner of North Elm and Main Street.

Kansas exports increase in 2019

Kansas exports totaled $11.6 billion in 2019, up 0.25 percent over 2018. Nationally, U.S. exports experienced a 1.25 percent decline during the same period.

Courthouse to open on May 11th with limited access in place

As part of the re-opening phase of COVID-19, the Rooks County Commissioners voted to open the courthouse starting Monday, May 11th with limited access in place. The east and west doors will be open, with taxpayers to be signed in by the staircase so the ten-person regulation can be monitored.
