The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced April 16th that it has approved the plan submitted in January by the Kansas Dept. of Agriculture to regulate a Commercial Industrial Hemp Program in Kansas.

U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) announced Friday, April 10th, $325 million in relief funding to Kansas health care providers and hospitals. This information was confirmed to Sen. Moran by Vice President Mike Pence this morning.

The Kansas State Collegian, 2019 Royal Purple yearbook and Manhappenin’ magazine, all part of Kansas State University’s Collegian Media Group, all received Gold All-Kansas rating from Kansas Collegiate Media.

Highway construction projects are continuing across the state with modified work practices. And as always, work zone safety is a top priority for the Kansas Department of Transportation, Kansas Turnpike Authority and partner organizations.

The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a pair of bridge repair projects along I-70 in Ellis and Trego counties this week.
