At the Rooks County Free Fair Board meeting held on Monday, June 15th, the board members voted unanimously to move forward with a full fair for the county to be held from Sunday, August 2nd through Saturday, August 8th!

This year COVID-19 kind of flipped the end of the school year upside down, so SHS flipped their Prom upside down. Instead of the normal, formal meal and dance this year, the school has re-imagined this event into a summer carnival for the students.

Since unveiling our “new look” newspaper and website (www.stocktonsentinel.com) the first week of April, we have offered everyone free full access to our eEdition and website. However, prior to our issue dated July 2, 2020, the paywall is going to be activated on the website.
