A caller who identified themselves as law enforcement is telling people they missed their duty and are required to pay a fine over the phone or a warrant will be issued for their arrest, the Gove County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook.

Commissioners sworn in at city meeting

At the Stockton City Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 6th, newly elected commissioner Deb Miller and incumbent Bob Becker were sworn in to serve on the board for the next four years. Miller is taking the place of outgoing commissioner Nathan Glendening.

Palco Lions Club Soup Supper this Sunday, Jan. 18th

Hope to see you all at the Palco Lions Club Soup Supper this Sunday, January 18th. It will be held at Palco Township Hall from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu includes chili, turkey & noodle soup, and ham & bean soup, plus all the fixin's. This Free Will Donation event will go towards the area projects in Palco, Damar, and Zurich.
