GOVE COUNTY—The Gove County Sheriff reported on Facebook a potential jury duty scam. A caller who identified themselves as law enforcement is telling people they missed their duty and are required to pay a fine over the phone or a warrant will be issued for their arrest, the Gove County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook.

At the Stockton City Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 6th, newly elected commissioner Deb Miller and incumbent Bob Becker were sworn in to serve on the board for the next four years. Miller is taking the place of outgoing commissioner Nathan Glendening.
