Rooks County Fair Board Secretary Kelly Muir was at the county commission meeting held on Tuesday, January 24th, to present the commissioners with the estimates for replacing the HVAC unit at the 4-H building. The commissioners will review the bids and decide at the next meeting.

After spelling “embrace” correctly, fifth-grade student Golden Potter became the 2023 Stockton Grade School Spelling Bee Champion. Potter entered the competition as the fifth-grade alternate, making it an even bigger win.
