Senior Cappi Hoeting and her freshman sister, Cheyenne Hoeting represented Stockton at the Class 1A Regional Cross Country Meet held at Ness County Country Club in Ness City last Saturday morning. Although neither of the ladies qualified for State, Cheyenne ran a PR time of 22:54.10 to place 17th.

The Solomon Valley ARC Larks attended the 1st West Region Bowling Tournament on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Centennial Lanes in Hays. Due to the COVID pandemic, this was the first tournament since 2019.

Pool play action of the 2022 Mid-Continent League Volleyball Tournament was held last Thursday, with the Stockton Lady Tigers assigned to the Norton site to take on Ellis and the Lady Jays.

After being idle last week due to having to forfeit their game against Hill City because of low numbers, the Stockton Tigers will be back in action this Friday when they host the Quinter Bulldogs in district football action. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

In their final action of the 2022 season, the Stockton Junior High Tigers were defeated at home by the visiting Hoxie Indians in both volleyball and football action.

The Stockton Lady Tigers improved to 15-15 on the season following their two wins over Northern Valley and Logan/ Palco last Tuesday in Logan. Stockton defeated the Lady Huskies in two close sets, 25-22, 25-22, and then downed Logan/Palco 29-19, 25-20.
