Stanley Robert Roy, 76, WaKeeney, passed away May 11, 2023, at Trego Lemke Memorial Long Term Care, WaKeeney.
He was born February 19, 1947, in Damar, Kansas, the tenth child of Nathlie (Asselin) and Dona A. Roy.
Stanley spent his school years in Damar and graduated from high school in 1966. Before Stanley started technical college for mechanics and welding in Goodland, he met Diana Bassett. Stan and Diana married on August 12, 1967, in Damar. To this union, four children were born: Laura, Brad, Nicole and Mark.
Joycelyn Kay Francine Barry, 76, of Marquette, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at her home.
Joycelyn was born November 2, 1946, in Concordia, to the late Francis J. and the late Norine Thelma Theresa (Istas) Rheault.
She grew up around the Stockton area. She was a cook and a baker.
She is survived by three sons: Jeff Barry (Jana) of McPherson, Troy Barry (Carri) of Bennington, and Mike Barry of Garden City; 9 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Cary Jr.; and one brother.
Judie J. Turnbull, 81, passed away on May 5, 2023, at Legacy Nursing Home in Salina.
She was born to Louis and Mildred (Kobbeman) Obermueller in Lubbock, Texas, on February 3, 1942.
Judie worked at Phillips Lighting for 38 years. She was married to Dick Turnbull for 44 years and had three children, Kyle, Kisha, and Shawn.
Judie loved going to sporting events to watch her grandkids and loved being around and enjoying her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick; son, Shawn; and brothers Darryl and Gordon Obermueller.
William F. “Bill” Wilson passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Red Bud Village in Plainville, Kansas, at the age of 96.
He was born on March 23, 1926, in Salyards, Kansas, to Virgil and Ethel (Snyder) Wilson. Bill was united in marriage to Eleanora (Meredith) Wilson on March 18, 1949, in Plainville, at the United Methodist Church. To this union the couple was blessed with two children: Rick and Susan.
