Body Ted L. Lambert, 85, passed away on October 29, 2023, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville. He was born on December 12, 1937, at the family farm to the late Alford E. and Ival M. (Kern) Lambert. He married Freda J. Hiser on Feb. 27, 1960, in Plainville.

Body Ernest L. McElfish of Plainville passed away on October 24, 2023, at Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 91. He was born on December 17, 1931, to Ernest and Martha (Ede) McElfish in Mulberry, Kansas. He was married on April 4, 1982, to Melva Irene Kerns.

Body Michael Kemp Money, 84, of Hill City, Kansas, passed away October 26, 2023. He was born to Rex and Katharyn (Kemp) Money in Enid, Oklahoma, on June 11, 1939.

Body Penny Rae Law, 59, of Hill City, entered into the arms of Jesus on October 26, 2023. She was born September 11, 1964, at the Graham County Hospital in Hill City to Clarene (Haynes) and Randall Law. Penny grew up on a farm between Hill City and WaKeeney.

Body Cynthia Gail Judd, 69, passed away on October 21, 2023, at Medicalodges of Great Bend, Kansas. She was born on August 25, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas, to William and Phyllis (Corley) Votapka. On November 28, 1981, she married Mark A. Judd in Phillipsburg, Kansas.

Body Francis Richard Everett passed away on October 9, 2023, in Woodston at the age of 66. He was born on February 15, 1957, to Albert and Dorothy (Abernathy) Everett in Kansas City, Kansas.

Body Edna “LaVerne” (Horton) Hackerott, of Plainville, passed away on October 15, 2023, at the Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 101. She was born on October 18, 1921, to Harry and Ruth (Henry) Workman in Plainville. She married Troy Lee Horton on September 10, 1939.
