He was born on December 28, 1960, to Edward F. and Shirley Ann (Grieve) Branch in Plainville. He was married in 2002 to Pamela Cleveland. She passed away in 2007.
Mary Catherine (Herrman) Dreher, age 92, passed away on August 18, 2025, at her home at Dove Estates in Goddard.
She was born on September 18, 1932, the daughter of Isidore and Albertina (Legleiter) Herrman, on the family farm in Liebenthal, KS.
On November 21, 1950, Mary was united in marriage to Alex J. Dreher in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Liebenthal, and officiated by her uncle, Msgr. John George Herrman. Mary and Alex shared 57 years of marriage before his passing on December 14, 2007. Together, they raised four children: Ronald, Stephen, Cathy, and Laura.
Wayne Albert Walz, of Plainville, passed away on August 18, 2025, at Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 83.
He was born on March 13, 1942, to Albert T. and Leona L. (Shubert) Walz in Hays, Kansas.
His father died in 1943, when Wayne was less than a year old. Wayne grew up in Ellis, Kansas, where he was known by his adopted name, Wayne Blackburn. He graduated from Ellis High School in 1960 and went on to attend Fort Hays Kansas State College, earning his master's degree in English in 1968.
Kermit Dean Schindler, Sr., passed away on August 12, 2025, at his home in Stockton, at the age of 88.
He was born on December 26, 1936, at the family homestead in Rooks County, Kansas—the fourth of twelve children of Ray and Vera (Arrington) Schindler. Kermit married the love of his life, Barbara Richardson, in 1961. They later divorced but remained lifelong companions until her passing in May of 2023.

She was born on September 23, 1943, in Woodston, Kansas, to William and Cleota (Carmichael) Oliva.
Linda grew up in Woodston and graduated from Stockton High School in 1961. She was first married to Melvin Jones, and together they had three children: Shane, Travis, and Shoni. They later divorced, and Linda married Chuck Williams.
