Fire Call on Thursday, June 11th

At the regular weekly meeting of the Rooks County Commission held on Tuesday, June 9th, commissioners John Ruder, Greg Balthazor and Corky Hagan met with Rooks County Fair Board members Alan Dix and Kelly Muir. President Dix stated that the Fair Board is planning to have the Fair in August and asked for the commissioners’ input. They discussed the carnival, food vendors and 4-H events as well as being informed that the motorcycle and car races are ready to go. It was the consensus of the commissioners to move ahead with the plans noting that the Fair Board was to meet on Monday, June 15th to discuss and finalize plans.
