Rooks County Health Dept. reports 8th COVID-19 case

Last Friday afternoon the Rooks County Health Department announced that the KDHE COVID-19 data indicated an eighth positive case for Rooks County.

The patient tested positive on May 12th in another state and listed their home address as Rooks County. It must be noted, however, this patient has not been in Kansas during or after the COVID-19 infection.

The Health Department said Rooks County has no active cases at this time, and added it is working with KDHE to have this case removed from Rooks County’s total count.

Stockton Fire Department called out late Friday afternoon

The Stockton Fire Department has been dispatched to 2010 D. Road for a barn on fire. Matching the address given is the Tyler Muir residence.

The Woodston Fire Department has been called out to assist with the blaze.
