The Nova Theatre will sell popcorn and concessions again this Friday, June 5th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. And this time they will be ready for the crowds!

Last Wednesday, May 27th, Rooks County Commissioners John Ruder, Greg Balthazor and Corky Hagan held a conference call/meeting with Dr. Jen Brull, county health nurse Lori Eichman, emergency management director Butch Post, county attorney Danielle Muir, county clerk Ruthmary Muir and Rooks County Health Center CEO AJ Thomas to discuss the re-opening of Rooks County. Suggestions as to how the County should reopen were made by those present during the meeting, and then on Thursday morning, May 28th, the plan for Rooks County’s reopening was posted on the Rooks County Health Department’s Facebook page.

The filing deadline has come and gone for all those seeking a place on the August 4th primary election ballot.
