Barbara Lee “Bobby” Couse, 83, passed away on May 24, 2026, at Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton, Kansas. 

She was born on May 5, 1943, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Burgess Hollar and Catherine (Hammersmith) Dauwe. Her father gave his life serving his country during World War II, and she was lovingly raised by her mother and stepfather, Johnie Dauwe, whose care and guidance helped shape the strong devotion to family that defined Barbara’s life. 

Norman Keith Voss, 88, passed away on May 14, 2026, at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.

He was born June 24, 1937, in Graham County, Kansas, to Louis and Irma (Henry) Voss. He was the middle of five children.

Leon Thomas Welker, 83, of Stockton, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, Kansas.

He was born on August 19, 1942, on the Hardman Ranch south of Woodston, Kansas, to Thomas Lesley Welker and Martha Elizabeth (Delaney) Welker. He graduated from Woodston High School in 1960.
