David Lee Weber, age 56 of Victoria, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Hays Medical Center.

He was born November 30, 1969, in Hays, Kansas, to Herman V. “Verlee” and Karen (Ellis) Weber.

Jackie “Jack” Duane Boller, 80, formerly of Plainville, Kansas, passed away May 4, 2026, at Richard Nau Hospice House in Longview, Wash.

He was born on July 12, 1945, at Hadley Hospital in Hays, Kansas, to Duane and Leona (Bair) Boller.

ROOKS COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Rooks County Sheriff's Office arrested a Stockton man for manufacturing methamphetamine. 

The Rooks County Sheriff's Office requested KBI assistance on April 3. The investigation discovered Richard E. Beck, 63, of Stockton, was purchasing methamphetamine precursor chemicals and stealing anhydrous ammonia in order to manufacture methamphetamine.
