ALLEN COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) arrested a former Kansas sheriff’s deputy for sex crimes following a missing persons case investigated with the Hays Police Department.

NEW TINTED PLATE-GLASS WINDOWS were installed in the building that houses Xander Eugene’s Treasures at 412 Main Street in Stockton on Tuesday, March 19th. It took a long time to get the project completed, but it is definitely worth the finished product. This project would not have been possible without a grant awarded from the 2022 Rooks County Economic Development Storefront/Signage Grant Program.

Butch Post retires from Emergency Management

Since June 25th, 2009, Tracey 'Butch' Post has served in the position as the Rooks County Emergency Management Director. He will retire as director on Monday, April 1st, with Adam Bryant taking over the department.

BUTCH POST will retire Monday, April 1, after serving as Rooks County’s Emergency Management Director since June 2009.
