There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, July 28th, for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. The distribution will be held in Stockton on Monday, July 28th, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall. Please enter through the front door at 314 Main Street.

The Council of the City of Woodston met in the Council Chamber at the City Hall on Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor April Yakish called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Grand Opening is Sunday, September 7th The Rooks County Historical Society announces the establishment of the Western Kansas Reading Room. The Reading Room, located within the Museum, will increase the Society’s academic role throughout Western Kansas.
