The Rooks County Crossroad Quilt Guild's monthly meeting was held on Monday, March 17th, with 12 members present and a very good potluck dinner. Roll Call was taken with a couple of pillows, pillowcases, and five quilts being shown. Minutes from the last meeting, as posted online and in email, were approved with amotionbyKarenMcCune and a second by Linda Stamper. Toni Anderson read the Treasurer's Report with a motion to approve by Linda Stamper and seconded by Connie Haselhorst. Old Business was just an inquiry into a New Year's Baby and whether the quilt had been delivered if one had arrived. One check for dues was taken. There was a reminder that the booth for the fair will be a jellyroll project. There was no New Business, so we asked about upcoming classes in the area. Paradise Flats has one on May 3rd by Connie, a beginner class on April 2nd and 9th by Nichole, and Stockton Community Center on June 21st by Connie. Plainville had eight for Sew Day, and Stockton had no report. The next Sew Days are April 9th in Plainville and April 12th in Stockton. The motion to adjourn was by Kenda Ross and seconded by Linda Stamper. The next scheduled meeting is April 21st.—Sent in by Toni Anderson.
