Body The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT) has developed a plan to keep Kansas’ 28 state parks, 63 state fishing lakes, and more than 100 wildlife areas open to the public during the COVID-19 crisis.

Body We are living in unprecedented times, at least in recent history. Churches, just like many other organizations, are suffering from the consequences of the Coronavirus.

Body The Stockton Fire Department received a mutual aid call from Plainville on Wednesday, March 18th to help with a grass fire in the southeast corner of the county by Codell.

Body FEAR NOT! It seems so long ago. The world had come through WWI (1917-1918) and survived the Spanish / H1N1 Flu pandemic (1918-1920) in which at least 50 million people died. The Great Depression then ramped up in 1929.

Body The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at the United Methodist Church in Stockton at 7 p.m. Ruth Ann opened our meeting with the flag salute. Roll call was, “What are you doing to stay well this winter?” It was answered by 8 members.

Body The regular monthly meeting of the Crossroads Quilt Guild was held at Stitch and Chatter Quilt Shop in Stockton on February 17th, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. A wonderful potluck was enjoyed. The business meeting was called to order by vice president Linda F.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, March 23rd, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, bread, mixed fruit. Tuesday—Chili, fivecup salad, crackers, cinnamon roll.
