Jerby Reunion

Body
Once again, families met to hold the Annual Jerby Family Reunion on August 16, 2020, at the Senior Center in Phillipsburg. With COVID-19 still making it dangerous for families to meet, several members risked meeting and joined others for a great meal. When the last matrarch, Mary Henrotte Jerby, passed in March 1914, the siblings decided to meet annually to keep brothers and sisters informed of each others’ lives of what took place during the year before. Each year, as the tree grew, new relatives came and met with the siblings. In order to to do so, they chose the third Sunday in August to gather and share happenings and how their families had grown in new additions or share in the loss of relatives.
