History of the Stockton Academy

Body The Stockton Academy was built by the Congregational Education Association in 1887. The Academy was an extension of the preparatory department of the Washburn College at Topeka, Kansas. The first year started on October 5th, 1887 with approximately 50 students.

Ruidoso Visit

Body Harry and Willardene Purdum returned home May 22nd after spending a week in Ruidoso, N.M. While it was an off season, ski season long since ended. The horse racing season will start on May 28th, but the impact of a pandemic was apparent.

Body We welcomed Manhattan Christian College President Kevin Ingram this week for our Sunday service. Kevin gave a very timely message on grace.  Grace is so important that MCC chose it as their theme for this last year.

THE 5TH ANNUAL PLAINVILLE RED LINE CRUISERS CRUISE NIGHT & CAR SHOW helped benefit Miles Axelson who was injured in a vehicle accident last July. The Red Line Cruisers appreciate all those who made donations and participated in the weekend fun. Special prayers for a speedy recovery to Miles, pictured, holding a check in the amount of $1,400 to help with medical expenses.
