ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. The City of Stockton is making an effort to clean up uninhabitable houses and properties in Stockton. This house at 714 N. 1st was bulldozed last Tuesday, Nov. 30. This had been the home of Hilda Lampkin, who at one time was a cook at the school. It was currently owned by her grandson, Doug Phillip of Olathe. John Walker was tasked with the job of demolition and hauling away of debris.

Sigma Phi ESA Christmas Luncheon this Sunday, December 12th

The Sigma Phi ESA will be hosting its annual Christmas Luncheon on Sunday, December 12th at the Stockton City Hall from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On the menu are different soups, bierocks, and homemade pies to choose from. The Meal Deal is $10.00 per person. Candy and other homemade goodies will be available to purchase. There will also be a raffle that day for a chance to win a $50.00 Chamber Check, a Nova Family pass or a winter décor item. (You can purchase raffle tickets ahead of time from any ESA member.)
