785-994-6370 (home) or 785-476-5206 (cell) Phone: Our rainfall this past week came in the form of very light showers, hardly wetting the ground. Last Sunday, the Cedar Christian Church held a special morning worship service and a picnic lunch at Cedar City Park.

We all know that society today is much different than it used to be. Likewise, society 50 or 100 years ago differed from 200 years ago. Times change and so do people. However, there is one thing that never changes, and that is God. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

THE CURE. The word 'gospel' today is used variously. We have a genre of music called 'Gospel music.' And we commonly say that something is 'the gospel truth.' As many people know, in the Bible, the word gospel means 'good news.

The Nova Theatre in Stockton will show the movie “Sound of Freedom” (rated PG-13) this weekend during its regular show times at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28th; Saturday, July 29th; and Sunday, July 30th.

The Nova Theatre’s next FREE summer movie is Wednesday, August 2nd, at 1:00 p.m. The movie is “Curious George,” rated PG.
