The Natoma Lions Club presented Shawna Dunlap 'Natoma’s Good Citizen of the Year' award during the evening Labor Day Cele-bration, September 4. The Lions members nominated her for providing a positive performance within the community by exceeding expectations in a myriad of tasks.

A former Stockton/ Woodston man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Saturday, September 16, in Henrietta, Texas. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 36-year-old, Nathan Andrew Worley was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban on US-82 when it crashed for unknown reasons.

Fasting is given less attention today than it once was. However, it is still an essential part of Christianity. Or, maybe we should say, it should be an important part of who we are. The Creightons showed their final dog show of the season at the Rooks County Free Fair on August 7. Jefferson, showing Lucy, received a 94 out of 100 for a Blue ribbon score in Showmanship.
