Isaiah 53 speaks of the Messiah, Jesus, who would suffer for the sins of all the people. Such a prophecy, written nearly 700 years before the crucifixion, is astounding! Who would believe that God would choose to save the world through a humble, suffering servant rather than a glorious king?

Good Morning! I enjoy reading the Stockton Sentinel and keeping in touch with what is happening. I was pleased with the Yester the Sentinel.

Though Tracy’s Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning in Stockton has been a staple in the community for many years, it is now a new addition to the Stockton Sentinel’s Business Directory. Look for their ad starting in this week’s edition on Page 4A.

Stockton USD 271 held two special school board meetings on Monday, March 25th. The first order of business during the first meeting was to accept the resignations of Sarah Armstrong as the high school golf coach and Thelma Berland as a board of education member.

The first day of spring was declared Tuesday, March 19, and we did enjoy a few warm days. We drove to Lindsborg on Sunday, March 17, for Arlene Holloway's visitation and enjoyed visiting with the Holloway family.

Thanks so very much to our friends and relatives for the cards, phone calls, words of comfort, flowers, and memorial gifts we’ve received since Bonnie’s death. Your kind & loving expressions of sympathy have all been appreciated.
