The Girl Scouts decked the halls of Redbud Village with Christmas carols on December 7th to kick off their annual Christmas party. They also delivered Christmas cards to the residents before going to the elementary school cafeteria for a visit with Santa.

• William C. Brickley, Administrator of Plainville Rural Hospital, had announced the return of Steve Bomgardner, R.N., B.S., who was to be the Director and Supervisor of all in-service educational programs for Registered Nurses and the LPNs at the hospital.

• During the December 28th RCH Board of Directors' meeting, Chief Executive Officer Michael Sinclair announced the hospital's offer for the Director of Nursing (DON) position was accepted by Pam Harmon, who was to begin her duties on February 1st.
